Bruno’s Spot - Coffee Pop-up Logo + Branding + Event
During the latter half of 2024, I embarked on a personal project that combined two of my passions: design and coffee. Since transitioning to remote work as a designer in 2020, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for coffee brewing—exploring everything from espresso and drip to pour-over and lattes. This interest eventually inspired me to create a small coffee pop-up where I could share my love for coffee with friends. I named it Bruno’s Spot, after my dog, Bruno, who’s always by my side when I make coffee at home.

Logo + Branding
Designing the branding for Bruno’s Spot was an iterative process. I explored several logo variations before settling on a stamp-like design.
Originally, I wanted to print custom cups for the event, but with limited time, I opted for a handmade approach—I commissioned a custom stamp to brand the cups myself. This decision ultimately shaped the final look and feel of the logo.
Event
For the event, I hosted a morning gathering with DJs, good music, and plenty of friends eager to try the menu. My friend Jon joined me behind the counter, and together, we served coffee throughout the morning to glowing reviews. It was an incredibly fulfilling experience—bringing people together over something I love, fueled by design and a shared passion for great coffee.
